Some men absolutely love women’s underwear and, Glen Johnson has managed to turn that love into a profit. He’s featured in my second piece for the Black Blogger Month series on BlackEnterprise.com here.
While I was serving on a panel at Empire State College I met, social justice publicist, Anna L. Barrow. Anna introduced me to her client, L. Amir Amma. Amir is a former ex-offender who is making positive contributions to society now that he is free. But he is not the only one. Check out my piece featuring 8 powerful inspirations.

If those late night calls are not booty calls but the bill collector instead then you definitely need to check out my debut for AtlantaPost.com. I interviewed attorney, Abel L. Pierre about how he is helping victims of debt harassment fight back and get up to $1,000 in the process.
Special thanks to my girl and fellow journalist, Alexis G. Stodghill for helping to make this all happen.

For most people being frugal means only saving money but for Natalie P. McNeal it’s the foundation of her growing empire. I spoke with Natalie for BlackEnterprise.com about for their Black Blogger Month series here.
Throughout the month of May BlackEnterprise.com will highlight 20 amazing bloggers, ranging from small business and financial experts to political commentators and media critics, who have all been successful at carving out their own niche in the digital space. I’m pleased to take part in the launch of the debut for this annual series.

This week I secured my second cover story for Rolling Out. It features actor, Laz Alonso. Laz is a rising star who is earning comparisons to Denzel Washington and Idris Elba for his suave style and credible talent. Do you think he has what it takes to fill Denzel’s shoes? Well, check out my interview and then decide by clicking here.

Whether or not you agree with his latest views on politics, race relations or even Donald Trump, there is no denying that Bill Cosby is a legend and can still hit the funny bone. I spent some time with Bill this past Monday at an event for the Harlem School of the Arts (HSA). Bill cracked a few jokes (apparently he couldn’t tell us apart in the above image) and got serious too about his work with HSA. Check out my coverage here on how the school is addressing the changing dynamics of race and class in Harlem.

Nope, I’m not on there looking for love–I already have my baby
Instead, I’m featured as a pop culture expert and giving my two cents in an article entitled “Love Lessons From Daytime Soaps,” by Margot Carmichael Lester. A relationship expert from Essence Magazine is also featured so I’m in good company. Scroll down to Lesson #4 for the goods.
Thanks Margot!

We all have humiliating experiences. Fortunately, I was able to take mine and turn into a humorous essay that was recently published in NY Press. It involves pornography, masturbation and self-confidence. I’m excited to make my debut in this legendary publication. But it means even more that I was able to stay true to my integrity in making sure that I was satisfied with the final released version of my story. Enjoy!

I am just now recovering from the soul force known as Fantasia and Eric Benet. These two artists truly soared, perspired, belted and touched during their live show in NYC recently. What made this event so memorable was the fact that I got to watch it backstage. That’s right I was right there behind the curtain and next to the soundboard as these two acts let loose.
I’ve never seen a concert from this view. Truth is, it’s not all you’d expect since the sound is way too loud for you to hear clearly backstage and all you see is the back of the performer. Plus, the area is quite small so it’s standing room only. Still it was exciting to be that close to see how all the magic unfolds. I captured in my Rolling Out piece here.
